The
multi tiered sculpture depicts plant and animal life within a mystical,
symbolically, animate setting. Maria has dedicated this work to the
indomitable spirit of the Mexican people, who despite adversity continue
to hope for the future of their children.

ceramic work illustrates the many faceted architecture and places of cultural
interest in San Jose. The people exiting the Freedom Train are examples
